I scheduled! April 7th is the big day...I just needed to get it out because no one else knows! I'm just reading through exam cram (skimming) and learning the spiderman pneumonic/labs/ekg/lung/heart sounds the last couple days....and PRAYING that I'm ready and HE puts the right thoughts into my brain!
I don't think I can do anymore questions...maybe one last test tonight and only 75q.
I feel like all the info is one big mess inside my brain now...information overload and I dont think I can learn anymore details. You can't know everything, right?
I just have to stay calm.
Your Kaplan scores look pretty similar to mines and I passed (according to the PVT) with 75q on Monday. Try not to overly saturate your mind with thoughts that may come in and make you feel like you don't know everything. Honestly, the only help for me was prayer and using the decision tree Kaplan taught because NOTHING I studied was on my exam.I will keep you in my prayers.
PS-QT 7 is a killer, it's so long, make sure you're well rested before taking it.
I don't even think I'm going to do QT7 anymore...today is my last day and i don't think doing 265 questions will be good idea before my test at 8am tomorrow. lol. I'm just going to skim all my notes and make sure I understand a couple last things...and memorize this superman pneumonic. I've been doing questions for a month...one more day isn't going to make it or break it.
Thanks for the encouragement!

Yeah to be honest, it took me two days to do QT7 and when I finally finished, it was the day before my exam. I was way to tired to go thru all the rationales, so I didn't. I just relaxed and reviewed some things I figured for sure I would need to pass (lab values, Spiderman etc.)
Go in there with confidence and know that God didn't bring you this far to leave you. Keeping you in my prayers.

Agreed! I just finished memorizing spiderman! ...and know most of the labs.
if you want an honest and well intentioned advice: please stop studying right now. Relax, pray if you want and stay calm. If it helps to remind you: this is a minimally competency test, they just want to know that you are minimally competent to start as a new grad nurse in a floor... you got this, it is a lot of common sense and applied knowledge, probably they wont be asking you a lot of number and things you have learned by memory... good luck!!
God Bless

so why do people fail? over and over again....
I appreciate it! I'm just skimming now...I'm actually pretty calm now. I realize that if I haven't learned it by now, I will not be learning it today.
Exactly what you learned you learned. Look people will always fails exams for different reasons but you can either thing you will be one of those who fail or you can put in the team of those who pass with 75 questions without a problem. You have studied, you have put your effor and now the day before is day to be calm and get a lot of rest for that test tomorrow. After tomorrow your life will change for the good and you will see it was enough what you learbed abd estudied. Good luck again RN ;-)
ONE day left! I don't know what to study! I can't relax! I feel like there is so much I don't know!!!
That's exactly what I felt before my exam. I even reviewed and answered practice questions 4 hours before my schedule. Once you're in front of the computer you'll be able to relax and focus. Good luck!
