1. Nurses would make the best poker players.
2. A good/bad tech will make or break your shift.
3. The day WILL end, take care of yourself; eat, pee, sit. Repeat if needed.
4. The saying "if you have a job you love, you'll never work a day in your life" can be true. Find it, and hold tight.
5. If you establish a good rapport with the docs they will trust your judgment and if you fight back while being a pt advocate, they will take you seriously.

3. Do not listen to negative comments of patient and patient's family from report....if your attitude is what it should be, most patients and their family will respond in like manner.
4. There are nurses out there that should get out of the nursing profession....they give us a bad name.
5. It is a privilege to be a nurse....we are one of the most trusted professions out there.

2. Every patient is someones mom, dad, sister, brother, etc. Treat your patients as you would treat your family.
