Hello Everyone,

I have been accepted into the ADN program @ DCCC for Fall of 2014 and was wondering if anyone had any information they could share with me about the program? Like How you would rate the professors, clinical sites and work load? Thanks

I've been accepted too! I'd also like to know :)

BTW.... The nursing scrubs and lab coats at dccc that we need for the program are all 25% off!!! I went there today

Sorry for such a late reply. Does the bookstore have them? I have been checking online and haven't been able to even view them. I guess I will call and see. Are you getting excited? I am ready to get started. Have you heard anything more about the program? I wish the info session was sooner. I have been accepted to a few school and like that DCCC has such a small program. I asked where clinical sites could be. By the looks of this site we are pretty lucky to get a spot in the program. What town you live near?

Yes the bookstore had plenty last time I went. Online it doesn't show the scrubs though! Yeah I was accepted to GTCC and forsyth tech, but I also liked that DCCC was small and personable. I'm very excited! Do you know of anyone who's been accepted? I'm in high point (Davidson county). Yeah I would really like for that info session to be like now!

I just got accepted in to RCCC's ADN program so now I am going to give up my spots at Forsyth Tech, GTCC. I am going to make my final decision on DCCC or RCCC this month. How nerve racking this who situation is. I really did like DCCC, but have been a student at RCCC for the last two years and get scholarships threw them. Have you heard anything about RCCC's program? GTCC would have been so close for you?

and forgot to answer your question no I don't know anyone that was accepted into DCCC. Sorry

No, I haven't heard anything about RCCC. I did however do my research on DCCC, FTCC, GTCC. DCCC is definitely is the best choice for me. Actually, all three schools are about the same distance (forsyth tech may be about 5 minutes further than the others). If you haven't already, look at the pass rates for NCLEX online and that should be an great indicator on where to go.

(I did my prereqs at GTCC & UNCG)

Were you guys accepted in the traditional or LPN to ADN program?

Traditional ADN. You?

I start the LPN to ADN on the 18th.

Good luck with your program!
