Since news is about things that I'm really not interested in, I decided to publish a newspaper about a subject that I am interested in.
This first front page is about me patting myself on the back for a job well done:
My old good buddy Jed owns and operates a motorcycle repair shop near where I went to pick up the new dryer belt, so I visited with him for a couple of hours.
At one point, Jed animatedly informed me of his recent actions, which made front page news:
I publish my newspaper on other websites and got some negative reactions on Jed's escapades.
I made an animation explaining the type of newspaper that Davey Do's news is:

Anyone who would honor me with a cartoon caricature as you have in the past automatically gets my vote!
While driving my Jeep home from an errand last April, I noted a funky feeling in the steering, so I pulled over and kicked the front tires. That seemed to remedy the situation, so I drove it home the remaining six miles.
Upon arriving at home, I noticed the right front wheel was warm and eventually diagnosed a stuck brake piston. My Dad once said, "If I can put something off until tomorrow, then I can put it off until next week!" I can put something off indefinitely. It took me three years, in stages, to build a deck on my house. I finally got around to clearing an area in the garage, jacking up the Jeep, and purchasing new brake calipers, and that only took me three months!
That Jeep has over a half a tank of $3.19/ gallon gas in it, because I rarely drive it. I run errands on my e-bike or go places with Belinda in her Jeep truck.
I have never performed a caliper replacement, but after watching a couple of Youtube, it didn't seem so difficult. There is so much that is left out by mechanics on Youtube. "Oh, you just take this off here, and put this on there, and you're ready to go!"
The calipers have banjo connections which have seal washers through which the hydraulic fluid is pumped from the master cylinder, and I'm fighting them now:

Thank you for asking about my '51 Chevy pickup, the Blue Funk, No Stars. Yes, I still have it and it sits outside if my garage looking like a grunge piece of art sculpture. I love grunge artwork.
I've worked on it here and there, and even got it running well, but then it goes ka-poot due to idiopathic etiology.
Some tinkering may just get it going again, but I'm just not there anymore, like I was when I spent 3 1/2 years resurrecting it. I pay a few bucks for insurance, keep the plates up to date, and am content to just gaze upon its beauty every day.
