Since news is about things that I'm really not interested in, I decided to publish a newspaper about a subject that I am interested in.
This first front page is about me patting myself on the back for a job well done:
My old good buddy Jed owns and operates a motorcycle repair shop near where I went to pick up the new dryer belt, so I visited with him for a couple of hours.
At one point, Jed animatedly informed me of his recent actions, which made front page news:
I publish my newspaper on other websites and got some negative reactions on Jed's escapades.

I was out and about, but completely forgot about the eclipse, and in fact, didn't notice any darkening. We were said to have had an 80% eclipse, but it happened without me! But I saw the one in 2017, and also saw several other eclipses much earlier in my life, so I'm good.
Specializes in Psych (25 years), Medical (15 years).
My Librarian friend, Bruce, forced me into taking three pairs of eclipse glasses and I'm glad he did. Belinda taped one of the lenses to her phone and got some magical shots.
I put on my arc welding helmet to see how it would look and it was good, but not as good as the glasses, for the eclipse was blurry and there were rays coming out of the sun.
