Davenport Nursing Letters

U.S.A. Michigan

Hi Everyone,

I was curious if anyone has recieved their acceptance, or denial letters from Davenport University.. The wait is taking so long, and now going on three weeks is way to long.. I am crossing my fingers that I get in :)

Take Care, Persephone

I read it on the nursing application, 1st or 2nd page, at the bottom. I ordered by books about three weeks ago, and received them two days later. I don't know if that is the norm, or maybe because I ordered them so earlier.

And no I didn't receive anything today, I wanna cry.

No Letter for me today:mad: .... What classes are you taking for Spring/Summer??

I'm taking BIO, Intercultural communications, intermediate algebra and the online health career class. What about you?

I'm taking Bio and Cultural Communication as well.. BIO on Tues and Thurs. Comm. Class Monday Nights... The Health course is a one day on May 6th for me?? I'm taking the Intermed. Math at Baker online for 10 wks instead of the 15 at DU, it transfers and not my favorite subject!! Wonder if we are in the same class?

I took a Chemistry class at Baker that didn't tranfer so I'll have to take that in the fall. If I don't make it in I'm not sure what I'll do. I'm going to re-apply at Baker, I'll have a total of 24.4 points with the extra point which may get me in. I don't really want to go to baker but if I have to I will. I'm going to keep the classes that I have at Davenport for this semester because eventually I want my BSN and these classes are a requirement.;)

I took CHEM at HFCC, I'm on their wait list!!! Intermediate Math from baker transfers to DU!! I'll take the BIO class if rejected like you, towards my Bachelors degree!!

Interm Algebra, tuesdays and thurdays. Inter. Comm on thursday nights and BIO on friday. How do you like having to take Pharm over again? Can't be any worse than before :crying2:

lilflygirl,

Do you have a 4.0 and an 80 on the hesi for macomb too? I applied at macomb too and am waiting that darn letter. I took the hesi in dec. so waiting til may is killing me :(

Yes, I have a 4.0 and an 80 on the HESI.. Honestly I do not think I will get in!! I was kind of confused by the Ranking letter I received? Did it mean that everyone who applied is Ranked?? They have like 1000 applicants for 120 spots. In the past you had to have a 4.0 and a 90 or better on the HESI to get in!! I will not be too upset when I get a Rejection letter from MCC, I didn't do well on the HESI... I'd much rather go to DU and get my BSN in two years!

I had to re-take PHARM at HFCC because Baker's didn't transfer... Now I will be taking it again, I'll know my drugs that is forsure!!!

Geez, I wonder what the minimum is for the TEAS! I sure hope you girls get in, you all sound like very bright girls. I only have a 3.8, I submitted two professional recommendations from two great individuals and my personal essay is pretty good. I did screw up on the TEAS, but passed. From my understanding the TEAS and HESI scores are looked at last:yeah:.

Correction. The TEAS's and HESI's minimum scores will not be established until application packets are evaluated. :idea:That sounds like GPA's, recommendation letters, and essay are first evaluated, then the scores.

I'm getting this info off the nursing application.
