Date time stamp 10/8/10

So I checked and I have a date/time stamp of 10/8/10 08:03. Wow, it's official!

So what semester do you think we can expect? I was thinking Fall 2013. She told me 5 semesters when I went in last.

KayL, I was date stamped 2/09 and just got in for the spring, so that was 4 semesters for me :crying2:. But, I also only had one choice listed, as I wasn't willing to drive farther than MCC and didn't want to go to CGCC (which is a good thing, since it wasn't even offered this semester...Hmmm...).

HatchetRatchet (or was it Ratchet Hatchet?! LOL), anyway, that is how I was figuring it for me, taking the # of students divided by about 650(450 who get in and the 200 or so that don't reaffirm) to figure out how long it'd be. I think there were about 2300 when I got my date/time stamp and if you do the math for my situation it was 3.5 semesters and I was 4, so it was right on. Now that there's about 2700, my guess it'd be 4-5 semesters! Only time will tell and I wish evreyone good luck while they wait. It really does go fast, even though it doesn't seem like it at first :)!!

I calculated my wait this same way and it is the same...about 3.5 semesters. Thanks for the info!! It makes me feel better knowing that you calculated the same way I did and got the same answer! Thanks a lot!

If I can make a suggestion, something I wish people had told me when I was on the wait list, do the LPN program. It has like a 3-6 month wait list from what I here at GWCC and is essentially block 1 and 2, then you can apply to block 3 and probably get in, even if you don't it may be a 1 semester wait list and at least you are a licensed nurse and can get a job. If not you can at least apply to the Maricopa Skills center which I think is just a lottery. Overall you will probably graduate 2 years earlier. Good luck.

my date/stamp is 10/8/10 as well, owell, waiting is a drag, so i applied to the gateway lpn fast track program in october 2010, OMG i got a call january 5th telling me, i was on pn program waitlist, and they had spots available, so i took spot for spring 2011, finish in december 2011, get into block 3 of rn program, and finish in december 2012, prob the same time i get news i got into the regular maricopa rn program. How they do the waitlist is very messed up.

So glad to hear that, I wish I had done it that way, oh well live and learn, starting block 4 in a week.

I was going to apply for lpn for spring 2011 but was told I needed to have CNA. But working on that so I can apply for fall lpn ft, in april.

I have a date time stamp of 08/13/2010 08:03:22AM. It feels like forever, it has been a year and I can't believe I still have another year possibly longer before I start. I am planning on taking HCR240 in the mean time, any advice or suggestions while I wait out this next year. The way it looks I won't be accepted until Spring 2013. Anyone else with a similar date time stamp?? So discouraging

I have the same time date stamp as you, not sure what time though maybe 8:01 or something. lol. Crazy that its been a year, only 1 more left (hopefully!!!!). The year has gone by fast and I know the next one will too but at the same time I wish I could be starting a lot sooner. I'm really hoping our time date stamp gets us placed for Fall 2012 as I saw time date stamps that got placed for this fall were from 8/09 and thats exactly a year behind ours so I'm hoping that means we get Fall 2012. Fingers crossed!!!

I noticed the same thing with the year prior to us and getting in that fall. =) I don't want to get my hopes up, and I've heard the list is being pushed out longer so hopefully Spring but even better if its the Fall before that. Fingers cross for sure! What are your choices for school if you don't mind me asking?

I'm also hoping that with these more stringent background check requirements tht I'll hopefully get in even faster now. Lol. I'm really really hoping on next fall. I have MCC listed, Chandler Gilbert, gateway accelerated and Scottsdale. And I think my 5th is regular gateway. What about u?

Good point with the background checks, maybe it will help the wait time go a little quicker. I have MCC listed, Gateway Accelerated, Scottsdale Accel, Chandler Gilbert Accel, Scottsdale. Have you looked into getting your background check done now?
