Darton College Summer 2011

Hello everyone. I just applied for admissions for the summer 2011 program a couple weeks ago. Has anyone esle applied as well? If so what is your GPA and HESI score if you don't mind me asking. My gpa is a 3.0, or higher because I have grades that have not posted, and I have not taken the HESI yet. Also, I applied to the Darton College. If I don't get accepted for the summer, I'll just apply for the fall.

Usually people that failed have to wait until the class is given again(once a yr schools) or if they have enough enough space and if your gpa is still around the average of the people they accept... When I was in LPN school one girl waited 2 yrs to get back in, she had to rebuild her gpa

Correcting my own mistake lol: a student who have more than one D or F in a nursing course is permanently dismissed... but I guess if they fail one course, they can take it over again, and must repeat the theory and clinical components of the course, and also are readmitted into that course if there is space available... so youre probably right pewinsto... i would hope while it took them this long to decide.. they would admit a couple of more people! LOL

And all grades are percentages... If you have a 69.9 you will not be given the 0.1 to stay in the program... So every little bit helps

has anyone heard in the past that Darton nursing office may have sent out the denial/waiting list letters first, then send out acceptance letters last or vice versa??? I am just so curious to know...

Never heard of that but based on the past blogs I've seen on here I saw someone say no and then another say yes maybe the same day if not a day apart.

okay thats what i figured but didnt hurt to ask! Lol I am so ready for night to come again so I can go back to sleep, and wake up to check the mail again... the past two weeks has all been based on 11:30 a.m., when the mailman comes! Sad, i know! LOL

Not sad at all..the only reason I'm not insane is bc I have a prayer warrior over here. Just focus on something else...it will come soon enough. Honestly, no sense in freaking out now bc it'll be here very very very soon.

But I will admit I did kinda stalk the mailman yesterday however saw nothing. Today though I'm like whatever. Probably too sleepy to care at this point..lol

I've been praying since before I took my hesi exam and hasnt stopped praying ever since! today, i figured there wasnt anything in the mailbox so i just went to the mailbox not anxious at all... also, since im not good at test, I knew God was there with me taking that test because I was suprised I even "passed" the test even though they there is no passing or failing grade... just suprised i even made the grade I did! I am a little exhausted myself so I know the feeling! Im just trying to think of other things to stay busy! TRYING! lol
