hi!
i am graduating from tcu and i have not heard anything about the dallas hospitals because we are in the ft. worth bubble! i am applying to dallas hospitals and have to accept one soon....ah! so, what do you know? do you have any information about medical city dallas, medical center of plano, baylor plano, baylor grapevine, and presbyterian dallas??? i need any information you can send my way to help me choose one!!!!!!!
thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
Baylor. The Baylor system is recognized as the cornerstone of nursing/medical care, second only to Parkland in the variety and acuity of the patients you will care for. (Parkland is the "county" or "charity" hospital, so pay is poor and location isn't the best.)dear everyone:i am thinking of relocating to the keller district in dallas-forthworth areas with my family. so far, north richland hills and baylor regional hospital in grapevine had interviewed me.... which one do i choose? can anyone tell me about the work experience in these hospitals? north richland's starting rate is bigger that what was offered by baylor. but reading your mails made me want to reconsider....any comments would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
Baylor has a number of hospitals in its system in the Dallas area, so you can move from one to the other as you feel comfortable doing--and if you move, you don't necessarily have to drive the extra 20 or so miles. (Dallas area traffic is pretty sucky at rush hour, so this is important to consider.)
Baylor also looks great on your resume.
look into the mosby cat for prep. price is right, features are terrific, better than any book or cd, imho.in case ya'll were wondering what hospital system i ended up choosing.... i chose baylor! yay! it has been wonderful so far! now i just gotta pass the nclex in a couple weeks. yikes! pray for me on the 27th of june at 8 am!!!!!
good luck!

I would consider Harris H.E.B. as well
