I am graduating within the next year and I recently had a clinical instructor tell me that some hospitals in dallas will pay for your past student loans, she said that it is something you could include in your contract?
Does anyone know of that opportunity as a new graduate nurse in the DFW area?

I haven't heard of this yet. Can you ask that instructor for more information?

Yes, Deck the halls. If this is true or a burgeoning trend my faith in corporate America will be partially restored.
I lied, not really!!!

In DFW? Sorry but...no. DFW has new nurses coming out of the woodwork. There is no incentive to offer something like that when there are so many candidates climbing over one another for a foot in the door. However, a large number of DFW employers do offer tuition reimbursement in exchange for work contracts. That won't help for loans you already have but if you decide to advance your degree it is something you can take advantage of once employed.
