Hey! I just wanted to get a thread started for people applying to Children's Health in Dallas for the July cohort!

I have not heard/received anything from them since applying...should I consider myself out? :(

Not yet, but looking back on previous Residency start dates it seems that they're very "last minute" when notifying people of interviews. I know one for sure heard back a week before the interviews were set to take place (which would fall roughly this week)

I haven't heard of anybody getting an interview yet, so lets not lose hope!

Also I know a lot of people are concerned about getting to the interview. If you are wanting to fly in (and avoid paying last minute flight prices) Southwest airlines has a really forgiving cancellation/ flight change policy. Their airport is also closer to the hospital than flying into DFW. Uber to the hospital should be under $10 if you fly into DAL! I know thats not ideal, but for everybody that is out of state and doesn't want to Skype in!

A friend of mine texted the recruiter last Tuesday and she had said that we should be hearing back from them within the next two weeks so it should be this week!

On a positive note at least one of us should have heard something which means they're just running behind !!! Stay positive everyone :) they're just taking their time
