Dallas area hospitals and starting pay

I will be moving to Dallas in January 2011. Does anyone know what the base pay is for a new grad and experienced nurse? I have been a RN for 2 years and I will be looking to get a job in a level 3 NICU. Medical City seems like a good hospital. Do ADNs get paid the same amount as BSNs? There are so many hospitals in the Dallas area and it's hard to tell which ones are good hospitals from their websites alone.

Most of the major Dallas-area hospitals will start an experienced new grad RN at a base pay rate of $23 hourly, plus or minus a couple of dollars. A couple of years of experience will get you a few more dollars per hour.

As far as Dallas NICU's goes, it seems that Parkland is the place to be. Parkland, Methodist Dallas, Baylor, Medical City: those are the big guys. My friend started at Parkland last year, after 1 year of working she is at $28 I think. So with your experience you should be able to expect more.

BSN and RN get paid the same at my hospital, most others that I am aware of.
