Please stay away from this place! They are unprofessional and unethical. They do not help the students succeed. Out of a class of 6 only two people passed. They overcharge and falsely bill your financial aide. I had to fight to get my money sent back. They will cancel classes at the last minute. No one in corporate wants to listen to your issues they refer you back to the campus you attend. They are currently being investigated in Jacksonville, Fl. Student says she's not getting quality education at Dade... | www.actionnewsjax.com

@Wayemika yes once I found all that out I voluntarily left. I did all of my prerequisites that were science in two weeks with a one week "lab". The lab portion really was a joke. The only hands on lab we had was chemistry.

wow its scary they have you do so much so fast

what ever happened? did this school close down in Jacksonville?

@RNsRWe Yes I was able to get my money refunded because I kept all documents. I've learned sometimes you cannot work around the job. The BON did explain to me that they are approved and some other things. @MaryOr they will learn soon enough. When I went to the Jacksonville campus the program was still fairly new. So they didn't have pass fail rates on the NCLEX yet.

Hi you were able to have your money back from financial aid?

The school had yet to send me a bill. I reported them to the Department of Education for fraud. They stopped taking my calls.

They did refund a portion of the costs to the Government. I want the bill stating what I was charged.

I went to USMF and it's the same thing I withdrew from the school but I'm not sure if I can get part of my money back

What exactly did you tell financial aid to get your money back because I want my money back also from usmf

Who stopped taking your calls dmc or dept of ed? Please please please list all the steps you took to get your money back.

Where u able to get out of the dept with the loans ? Or just financial aid ? What did u do exactly please help us

You need to call the US DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION get the number for FINANCIAL AIDE FRAUD write up your letter of what happened to you. Send them that with any billing info you may have. The school has yet to send me a bill but I was able to get my financial aide ledger. You have to read the contract with Dade. You only get back the money the money that the government sent them and they did not use. Make sure your charges are accurate. They received my full tuition. They had to send that back. You will not get 100% of your money back unless you are enrolled in the school and it closed or you can show they were fraudulent. I'm waiting on my results

How can an individual complete Science Prerequisites in two weeks? Why does the Florida BON allow these schools to exist? With such poor standards, how could any of their students even pass the NCLEX Exam? Which Hospital or Nursing Homes hire these students?

Sadly, despite all the warning on this forum and on the Internet in general, students desperate to be nurses will always fall victim to these schools, since the Tuition is mostly covered by Federal Student Loans. The only way to get rid of these schools is to cut off all Federal Student Loans from these For Profit Schools. There are probably millions of these students out there who did not finish any of these programs and have Student Loan Debt of over $20K and no jobs/career.

Prospective student should be aware of the bogus "good" reviews these schools receive online. In most cases, these reviews are written by the Employees of these Schools or their relatives.

I'm so confused, so your basically saying that the money that was refunded to you was the money for classes you never took.

That's not getting your money back. That money was technically never used. I'm looking to get refunded for the money that the school took towards their fraudulent classes and get me out of this debt with no degree to show for it.
