Anybody apply to Cypress College or is planning to? I was dumb enough to go the first day, and even though I was a half hour early, I ended up waiting a good 4+ hours for an application. Probably not the best set up I've seen, but whatever, this is the school I want to get in! So, here's the thread for Cypress, and wishing nothing but the very best to all us 2011 hopefuls!

Is anybody else having trouble enrolling into the courses? Can someone please list the books we need for 191, 192, and 193. I am waiting to get an add code but would like the purchase the books now. Thank you! ;)

they said during the info session that you'll get an add code first day of class. Also if you look on the schedule of classes online..you should be able to find a "text" link that will bring you to all your books. (and there's a ton!) Prepare to spend about 600 bucks for all the required books. If you can't find the link, just goto the bookstore website and you can find it manually there as well. Happy shopping!

and I'm sure someone will ask...I got all my books on Amazon. If you're a student you can enroll for their "prime" status and all your books will arrive on two days shipping. I got all my books new, and Amazon looked like the best bet for me. (no tax no shipping) You can also goto a site called dealoz and they'll look up prices for you online too..

Hi guys,

I can't get 192 either so I called the counselors. They told me that the instructors prefer us to enroll before the first day to get the books. However, since we can look up the books like Guavaturtle said (THANKS for your help!), I guess it doesn't matter til the first day then.

Thanks for all the help everyone! I just head about the free two day shipping with amazon so I might return some of the books I bought at the bookstore.
