Cypress College

Anybody apply to Cypress College or is planning to? I was dumb enough to go the first day, and even though I was a half hour early, I ended up waiting a good 4+ hours for an application. Probably not the best set up I've seen, but whatever, this is the school I want to get in! So, here's the thread for Cypress, and wishing nothing but the very best to all us 2011 hopefuls!

Ya I have been planning on it... just making sure I'm not the only one doing it just in the hopes of getting a phone call! I will be registering tomorrow so I'll see you all on the 13th!

It sucks that the college can't just give waitlist spots of those who didn't "reserve" their seat in the program. I think the best bet is just going to the first day of class-- whoever didn't reserve their spot and doesn't show is out, and whoever's in class will get the spot. At least that's the impression I've gotten from the Q&As...

I know they have a ranking and all, but it seems like the professors would just give spots to people who are actually there? Weird system...Did you guys apply elsewhere?

Cypress was the only program I applied to so Im really hoping for the best! I will definitely be there the first day... although I think that with my luck there won't be any spots that open up, haha. I think my problem is now that I keep checking my phone and waiting for the call... maybe if I just forget about it for awhile ;)

well don't worry spacy, cypress' application is earlier than other schools. GWC's application opens in a couple days, there's Saddleback in Feb, Mt Sac around March ;)

Hey guys, in case a few of you were still wondering where the family night will be held, I was clicking hrough the cypresscna.net webpage and it listed family night under January 13th: Family Night (Time: 1700-1900; Place: Bldg TE3, Rm 222)

I emailed cypress' CNSA about the CPR program, and Sally (one of our instructors) said to just show up with your CNSA id # and some dough.

omg i'm so excited! just got a phone call saying that I got accepted for this semester :) Hope you guys that are still waiting get that phone call!
