Hi everyone! Has anyone else here applied for Cypress Spring 2018?
I put in my application on the Sept. 1 and submitted my documents as well. I should have 30 points so I'm hoping I have a good chance at getting in. The lady at the window said that they will let us know "after we've gone through all the applications"
Does anyone know what TEAS test were are supposed to study for? I think I remember the counselor saying it was TEAS version 6, but I'm not certain. I feel like I should already start studying for it since I really need to brush up on math.
For anyone that went to the nursing meeting. Do you find it weird that the ladies are suppose to get the button up uniform while the men get the zip up? haha. I like the zip up uniform better I wonder why they are different. What is everyones thoughts? I'm just curious. :)

I don't think it matters if it is buttons or zipper as long as it has a collar. One of the girls was wearing a zip up one.

I saw that too. I liked when the speaker was going over the uniforms & said that for the guys they have a zipper one and the girl student that had the zipper one on was like what? haha I prefer the zip up one :) But I was confused since in the information packet they had the button up ones for the ladies and the zipper one for the men. In the end the uniform really doesn't matter though
Does anyone understand how the alternate system work for the next fall? Alternates will become selective for the fall or they already pick out fall candidates? And also, I have 30 points, so is there any chance for me to get in the program next fall? I really want to be sure

If you are on the alternate list and don't get in for spring I believe you will for sure get in for Fall. They take from the same list.

Phew, passed the TEAS with an 86%. Glad that is done and over with. I think they send our score automatically to the school right? Since we took it there...just want to make sure there was nothing else I had to do after the TEAS test.
I wonder why they are different. What is everyones thoughts? I'm just curious. :)
