Cypress College Spring 2018 Applicants

Published

Hi everyone! Has anyone else here applied for Cypress Spring 2018?

I put in my application on the Sept. 1 and submitted my documents as well. I should have 30 points so I'm hoping I have a good chance at getting in. The lady at the window said that they will let us know "after we've gone through all the applications"

Does anyone know what TEAS test were are supposed to study for? I think I remember the counselor saying it was TEAS version 6, but I'm not certain. I feel like I should already start studying for it since I really need to brush up on math.

Nope! Guess 28/30 points wasn't good enough this semester

Just got my acceptance email!!!! Applied with 30/30 :)

Now i really have to get to studying for the TEAS! It's on Dec. 18. Do you guys think 2 weeks is enough time to study?! I haven't taken A+P in a few semesters :(

I didn't get in also, why is Nursing school so hard to get into. I'm feeling so discourage

Ugh I know!! I got rejected from Rio hondo and cypress and I'm on the alternate list for mt sac :( still waiting on elac but if all else fails I plan on just getting started with west coast university.. which is my last option but I don't know what else to do I don't want to wait any longer

I'm so sorry :( Did you get on the alternate list at all?

Holly, I'm surprised you weren't accepted with 30/30. What was your GPA if you don't mind me asking. I think they go by points first and then if there is a tie, GPA, and finally time that you submitted your application.

I have 30/30 too and still on the Alternate list :(

I'm not sure off the top of my head but ill go check. All of the counselors acted as though I was going to get in for sure... I have A's for all prerequisites and applied early morning on september 1st.

Wow at least i'm not the only one :/ thought us 30's would for sure get in. Hate that the meeting is during finals.

Does anyone know how many alternates there are and how many usually get in?

I have no idea but would certainly like to know

Hi all, I too am an alternate I applied with 28/30 points. I'm really nervous about the TEAS though I don't think 3 weeks is enough to study for all 4 subjects any tips???

I wish they would have given us a week at least after finals to do TEAS. I'm not going to have much time to study
