Hi everyone! Has anyone else here applied for Cypress Spring 2018?
I put in my application on the Sept. 1 and submitted my documents as well. I should have 30 points so I'm hoping I have a good chance at getting in. The lady at the window said that they will let us know "after we've gone through all the applications"
Does anyone know what TEAS test were are supposed to study for? I think I remember the counselor saying it was TEAS version 6, but I'm not certain. I feel like I should already start studying for it since I really need to brush up on math.
For all those who were accepted; What kind of Stethoscope have you decided to get? I'm still an alternate :/ but thinking about slowly getting the things
I need starting with a decent stethoscope. :) I've heard good things about Littmann stethoscopes, so will probably get that brand.

I love my Littmann!! Bought it for another program I was in because they highly recommended it...definitely pricey though!
Where do you buy your uniform and stethoscope? How's about patches? And did anyone make appointment for the medical examination at the Cypress health center??

You can get uniforms at any uniform shop, you have to get specific brand and model #, I think they said they'd have some used uniforms for sale at family night too. I can't remember if they are going to have stethoscopes at family night too? Patches are at family night.
I applied in the spring and did not get in. I just want to be sure, is there only one application period per Year? I am now on the chronological list for the fall. So all I have to do is update my application in September? I feel sceptical, like I am missing something.
Have you guys registered for classes already? NURS 193 Intro to Medsurg is still closed, and from what I heard from the orientation, we're gonna be given a code to enroll NURS 193 once we pass NURS 192 (if i'm not mistaken)???? Right now I have 6 units

Yes, I have 6 units as well. I think we add 193 later in the semster, at least that is what I jotted down in my notes from orientation.
Also, I haven't gotten an email about family night.

There is only one application period per year, so there's still possibility of getting placed in Fall semester. If not, just update application in September for next application period.
Has anyone received the email regarding the family night?
Did they say they would email us about it? I believe that's when we take our badge pics as well, and buy our patches. Did they also say something about hosting CPR training? I still need that. I've tried looking on cnsa website, but nothing had been updated.
