Curry ACCEL Jan 2015

Hi! Just reaching out! I applied for Curry's Accelerated nursing program starting in January of 2015, and I'm pretty sure we'll know in a couple of weeks who made the cut. Now that it's getting close, I'm starting to sweat it a little bit. I didn't have all my prereqs done at the time of the application (I have all the non-science ones done and A&P one and two, but I'm currently in Micro and I still have Chem left to take). Anyone else get in that still had more than one science left to complete? I hate all this second guessing myself!! Anyone else in the same boat? We can doubt ourselves together :)

I also applied to Curry, and am in exactly the same boat as you- all non-science pre-reqs done, as well as A&P I & II. I am in Micro right now and taking Chem in the fall. The wait is tough, but we will know soon. Fingers crossed for everyone!

Hey Lauren and MissKakes,

I am also waiting to hear back from Curry for the accel nursing program. It seems like as days get closer to July 1st, the wait feels longer.

All my courses are completed. I have been lurking on previous years posts and it does not seem like having one or two classes left will hurt your chances for acceptance. A lot of students with classes still left have been accepted.

I am waiting to hear back too! i finished all my pre-reqs but like jarch986 said, the other post seemed to point that not having them all done matters. Good luck to everyone! can't wait til next week or two!

Hi everyone! I also applied to the January 2015 Curry accelerated program!! I have my pre reqs done but like what everyone else is saying it doesn't seem to make a difference after reading these message boards from previous years. I am so excited and nervous to get the mail next week!! Good luck to everyone!!!! :)

Hey Everyone I'm also in the same boat. I'm taking micro now and chem in the Fall. But I was told no matter what take all the prerequisite's because you can be wait listed and called the day before classes. I agree that it doesn't seem to matter if you have prerequisite's left. Good Luck to everyone hope we all get an acceptance letter soon. The suspense is killing me .:nailbiting::dead:
