I took the NCLEX-PN on June 6th in California and I still haven't heard anything! When I left the testing center, I was told it would be 2-4 weeks. Since it's not unusual for things to get lost in the mail in my neighborhood, I'm wondering if I should call the Board this week to check on my status.
For those of you who have recently taken the NCLEX-PN in CA, how long did you have to wait for your results?
The wait time for California is ridiculous but what can you do!!! It takes 12 weeks for your PN application to be processed and once you are good to go ---you take your test and wait 5 to 6 weeks for your results and once you passed you have two options regarding your licenses. Send a check for $120 and wait another 3 to 4 weeks or drive to Sacramento and pay the $120 and get a temp licenses and they will mail you the original within 5days also dont forget if you drive thats additional money for gas. You have no choice. I am glad that I passed on the first try :-) and it has been hell for the wait but it did pass and now I can move on. Those of you in CA hang in there! Try to keep yourself busy because you have no choice if you want to be licensed in California you have to go through their process.
Hang in there and in the meanwhile try to keep yourself busy doing other stuff. I drove to Sacramento last week and paid for my licenses and they give me a temporary. My original license will be mailed in 3 weeks instead of 5days and and it show appear on the bvnpt.org website in 2 weeks. The process is very long but what can we Californians do?
i just took my nclex pn 3 days ago. i am soooo anxious to know my results. my computer shut off around 90 something questions i hope i didnt fail. i prayed so hard 2 pass this test and i wish god answered my prayers, all i want for my birthday is my lvn license il be the happiest nurse alive!!

Wow! I took my test in California on 10-6-09 and still haven't gotten my results. I called BVNPT and they told me they sent it to the right address but they would re-mail the results to me again. They supposedly sent my result out on the 21st of October. Go figure!
sorry to be off topic and this is the last page. i am waiting for a letter to come so i can go make a appointment to go take the nclex. majority the classmates i have talked to they received the letter and i haven;t yet. where can i go or call to find out did my mail got lost and can they send me another notification.
are you talking to me, check pearson vue? i emailed my instructor too and try to see what can i do at this point. it is ridiculous that mail can be lost like that and it is very important:o
