Hey guys! :) I got the email today the I have an interview at JU next Tuesday, April 9th. I am FREAKING OUT! I was hoping I could get some pointers on what to expect in the interview. What did you all have (if you don't mind me asking) as your GPA. I think I'm sitting around a 3.3-3.4, which I think is pretty darn good, but could be better. How heavily does JU weigh on the interview, GPA, letters of recommendation, etc? My interview should be awesome. I am a great speaker and don't sound versed because I truly speak from my heart and anything dealing with nursing comes easy to me because it really is my passion so I hope that will be able to shine through. My letters of recommendation were great (I'm sure everyone's were). My GPA is good, but AP 1 I ended up with a C as well as Micro because I took them together in the same semester. :banghead: Any tips or advice will be greatly appreciated!

Hi! I am anxious about my interview Monday,April 15, 1245pm. I would also like to know so pointers for the interview process if anyone has them. My GPA isn't all that great but I have heard the interview and essay are a good part of the application process. I am currently a Respiratory Therapist and hope my experience in the medical field also helps. Any advice would definitely be appreciated.

DenRoll4,

I will let you know how it goes. I go in TODAY in about 2 hours. I am so nervous. I have also heard that the interview and essay are a huge part of the process so I am hoping that's true. I asked Stephanie how many people were applying and she said roughly 150 with 35 seats available. Fingers crossed that we are two of those 35!!:nurse:

Carsm3,

I hope everything went well! It is so nerve racking with that amount of seats and applicants. I know this is what I want so if I dont get in I will just be waiting to apply again. Very nervous! Let me know how today went!
