cumberland university

Published

I am starting volstate in the fall for my pre-req's. And i plan to apply to mtsu and tsu for my rn. I'm just wondering if anyone has went to cumberland university in lebanon. Does anyone know anything about it. I was thinking i might apply there to but i'd like to find out more about it because it would be closer to my house than tsu or mtsu. It already takes me a good hour to get to volstate and i hate the drive.

i graduated from cu in 1999 with my rn bsn and i loved the program they have or had the best teachers and clinicals was wonderful except care plans but who likes care plans i have been working for 7 years now as a rn and i still love it :monkeydance:

Where do you do the clinicals at when you go to cumberland university?

I know a girl that just graduated from Cumberland in May. She did clinicals at University Medical Center in Lebanon, Vanderbilt, and Metro General in Nashville. Hope that helps!

Specializes in PEDS ED.

Cu does clinicals at SEVERAL sites...depends on the class. Health Dept, Vanderbilt, UMC, Summit, Sumner Regional, Cookeville, Metro, etc. Any other questions, let me know!

I know this post is not current, but I would like some help if anyone can. I am getting ready to take my HESI for Cumberland in June and would like to know how their program is going. I know people that have graduated from CU with other degrees, but not nursing. Any advice, help, anything would be helpful! Thank you!
