I didn't see a thread started for this years round of applications to the 2019 CU UCAN program at Anschutz so I decided to create one! I have submitted my application, has anyone else? Now I am just waiting to hear back!
I saw that groups in the past have met up prior to the interview to help with pre-interview jitters and to get to know one another. I would definitely be interested in doing that as well.
I think we should hear back by sometime in July. Also did anyone get the email about the new CASPer test you have to take if you get selected for an interview?
I would also like to meet up the night before! I created a facebook group so we can all communicate plans to meet up and wont have to post about it on a public forum! Hi y'all! I've been creeping a little on these nursing boards and decided to join in. I was invited to an interview as well (ahh!) and am super excited to meet everyone! I requested to join the Facebook group but unfortunately will most likely not be able to make the coffee meet up on Wednesday due to work and a vet appointment for my dog, and living an hour away from campus.
I'll be there super early on Thursday though to beat traffic if anyone wants to grab a coffee somewhere!

Congratulations to everyone invited for an interview! and thank you all for the great resources and ideas. I've also been invited for the interview! I am coming from New York for the interview a few days before so I would love to meet up with everyone at Caribou on Thursday. You shouldnt need to be friends with me to find it, but if you search Caitlin Rinehardt and add me as a friend i can invite you to join the group. I think im the only one that spells their name that way so i should be easy to find! Let me know if that doesnt work!
Hi all! I just found this thread, thanks to everyone who posted all of the helpful links and info. I don't have facebook, but I would love to meet up with you all the night before the interview if possible, would someone be willing to let me know what the plan is?
The plan right now is to meet at Caribou coffee closest to campus at 6:30p on Wednesday night! The address is 13700 E Colfax Ave suite c, Aurora, CO 80011
A few people also wanted to meet earlier this week and are meeting this evening at 5:30/6 in Arvada at Hunter Bay Coffee. You're welcome to come to either or both! Look forward to meeting you!
Unfortunately I was not able to attend any of the online info sessions, and realize how much information I probably missed out on. Does anyone know the clinical rotations offered? Or any other helpful tidbits of info?
I missed them too, but I found this link really helpful, it's the current curriculum for the program so it tells you classroom and clinical hours for the year!
