CU Denver Nursing Spring 2012

Anyone else out there apply for CU Denver Nursing Spring 2012 start? I applied, having issues with my account saying incomplete but the school says all is good.

Going nuts this morning thinking about how long I have to wait to find out. First I was told letters would go out mid August, now they are saying late August. But I see people from previous years not finding out till early October. Crossing my fingers for mid August as Fall semester starts August 23 and plan to take courses if I don't get in or don't hear back from them.

Let me know if any of you hear back or have details that I may not know about the process. Hope everyone else is doing well during this waiting period.

I applied too, all of my items say "complete." The last I heard, we would find out in mid-August, but I haven't had any correspondence with Admissions for weeks. I've been checking for a CU Denver Spring 2012 thread! Thanks for starting this.

I too applied for CU Spring 2012, but I was under the impression we weren't hearing from them until November or December! I have tried calling admissions but I only get voicemail and no one ever calls me back. I really hope it's mid-August since I am starting University of Nebraska College of Nursing August 22nd! If I got into CU I was planning on moving back and starting in January but can't rely on in and pass up Nebraska...we all know how hard it is to get in to nursing schools and it's foolish to turn down a guaranteed option! Let me know if you hear anything and I'll do the same!

Hello!

I have also applied. From the last email I got from them Dated June 8th

"Dear Prospective Nursing Student,

Thank you for applying to the Bachelor of Science program at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, College of Nursing. We have successfully received your application for the Spring 2012 term.

Applications are currently being reviewed. If there are issues with your application, you will be contacted by the Office of Student Affairs in the College of Nursing. Otherwise, please consider your application complete. At any time, you may go into Self-Service, Student Center to check on the status of application materials (i.e., transcripts). You may also use this site to update your personal information, mailing address(es), phone number(s), and email address(es).

We expect admission decisions to be made by late-August. You will be notified of this decision by postal mail.

Again, we thank you for your application!"

So I am guessing late august. I don't want to wait another month!!! I'm being inpatient :lol2:

I applied last year and didnt get the decisions til super late, but they had also completely changed the admissions process. I actually never got my letter. It got lost some how :confused:

That would freak me out :uhoh3: Mine says completed, but as long as you confirmed with the office that everything has been taken care of then I wouldn't sweat it. What does it say you are missing?

One of the schools I attended changed names. They have the new name listed as needing a transcript. They also have the old name with the transcript listed as received. There were other issues that came up and they fixed those. Just not this one.

She did clearly say that it would not affect my application and it would be updated but that was a while ago. I can't help to not be nervous. :confused:

Does anyone know if your online application summary (on the MYUCDenver page) updates when they send out decision letters? I know we won't find out our actual decision on the webpage, but will they say when "a decision has been made?"

Good question! but I have no idea...haha that would be cool if we could see it!
