Has anyone seen this addendum on the nursing curriculum packet page 9 for the 2017-2018 school year? I'm really, really hoping they're not adding any more prerequisites because I'm chomping at the bit to leave my current career and another year would be so hard!

"Based upon current curriculum planning these course requirements may change slightly, once finalized a transition plan will be put into place."

Im starting one for norwalk but all community college students can join. Nobody has got back to me with their FB names. Its going to be a private group so if you would like to join please respond back with FB names. Thanks! :)

For those who've registered for the background check and the drug screen, did the confirmation emails BOTH say just "background check"

I'm over here thinking I haven't registered for the drug screen by mistake.

There's always someone above that person maybe try the dean or say NVCC said there is an appeal form I can apply for if I got into an allied health program. The dean maybe? I would fight it!

Hmmmm. I can try looking into that. Not sure how far I will get with that though. The director of financial aid was pretty stern and made it clear he didn't even want to look at my letter or appeal form.

It bites hard. The guy said had I gone to another school I would be fine but because I'm at NCC which is basically the only school I've taken all my pre reqs at, I'm SOL

I have taken my reqs at NVCC and I'm going to nursing program at CCC! They still won't give me financial aid!

That's lame. I wonder why he would tell me that if it's not true. Either way, I personally feel it's kind of BS but whatever...it is what it is lol
