Has anyone seen this addendum on the nursing curriculum packet page 9 for the 2017-2018 school year? I'm really, really hoping they're not adding any more prerequisites because I'm chomping at the bit to leave my current career and another year would be so hard!
"Based upon current curriculum planning these course requirements may change slightly, once finalized a transition plan will be put into place."
Unsure of this year however, I was told in the fall by my advisor NVCC typically is 70 TEAS score and 3.5 GPA. I do believe this was a pretty competitive year though.
Me too, I've emailed all schools the only one who gave me a direct answer was NVCC as well. They said about the same 3.4 and mid seventies for TEAS. Everywhere else is so vague when I ask. thank you though, I appreciate it!
Exactly, me too! They are so odd about it, like god forbid we know what to reach for when starting our prerequisites. Probably trying to naturally weave people out... congrats to you though, you got accepted thats amazing!
I wonder how they figure out the waitlist must also be by ranking? You really want straight As and a high teas score I'm going to say over 70 for teas. I'm so nervous like I'm still waiting for the decision because of my number on the waitlist. Calling Noreen next week and in may to see if it moved. I hope we're allowed to call and see if the waitlist has moved at all.
They will most likely let you in, I believe. Cuz if you think about it, many people will give up their spot that got accepted, and let's say the few people on the waitlist in front of you possibly got accepted into other programs and didn't want to wait so they give up their spots, so I the end many people from the waitlist will get in, if you look at it that way. I believe you will!
I'm really determined to get the best scores possible, very excited to start! :) xo

You got this! Don't take too many at a time and remember retaking a course isn't the end of the world! Thank you for the encouragement I am praying!
