Has anyone seen this addendum on the nursing curriculum packet page 9 for the 2017-2018 school year? I'm really, really hoping they're not adding any more prerequisites because I'm chomping at the bit to leave my current career and another year would be so hard!

"Based upon current curriculum planning these course requirements may change slightly, once finalized a transition plan will be put into place."

I got into GWCC! I've been lurking on here but I was too nervous to post because I was worrying about my TEAS and AP 1 score. My GPA was great but I knew those 2 would bring me down. I guess my GPA won out? Whatever it was I don't care because I got in!

I'm an LPN so I'll be doing the bridge. I'll be starting this fall in the 3rd semester. I don't know why with NVCC you have to wait until 2018. That doesn't sound right to me. I have to make an appointment to sit down with my representative to discuss the bridge program, make sure you all do ASAP so you can get your questions answered in person.

Congrats to all! We worked hard!

I guess someone earlier in the thread said there was no availability or something? A year and a half wait will kill me!

I don't know! I really want to make an informed decision and I definitely cannot do that right now until I talk to someone! This is going to be the hardest decision

I dont know either. I emailed her as well. I'm heavily considering doing the whole program to guarantee my seat unless I can fast track into this fall. I don't have any other classes to take so the cost for two year to me won't be as much money as I thought. I feel like I'd rather have a guaranteed seat and refresh on things I may not have been as strong in before.

Just got the email. I got into NVCC :) Congrats to everyone!

And people on the waitlist don't give up- I think I will be giving my spot up.

I got into GWCC.

Congrats to everyone who were accepted and everyone who was wait listed do not lose faith!

Wait listed at NWCC í ½í¸ží ½í²”

Specializes in Surgical Nursing.

I got in to CCC! Stats were Nursing GPA 3.87, TEAS 86, A&P I - A. Congrats to everyone and I wish you all the best of luck. Now to tackle the long list of forms to fill out before the deadlines!

Wait listed...Not sure what was calculated in from my previous degree, but believe was a 2.9 to 3.0 GPA. Then B for Chem and B- for AP1. AP2 in the process of taking. TEAS score was 73.

For real, this packet of forms is making my head spin. I'm already calling doctors offices and what not to get my records together.

Oh also, Naugatuck people, PM me and add me on Facebook! I'm 99% sure I'm just going to suck it up and start in nursing 101. It will be a nice refresher for the stuff I've probably forgotten because I haven't used it since school.

I feel the same way, I have my LPN Also, I'm just gonna start in the fall at ccc.. just can't take that chance
