Has anyone seen this addendum on the nursing curriculum packet page 9 for the 2017-2018 school year? I'm really, really hoping they're not adding any more prerequisites because I'm chomping at the bit to leave my current career and another year would be so hard!
"Based upon current curriculum planning these course requirements may change slightly, once finalized a transition plan will be put into place."
I just confirmed with Profeasor Manka who is the LPN-RN advisor at NVCC and yeah.. if I get in and do the bridge, I won't start until Fall 2018. Crazy!I literally have no other courses to take so it's just a year of waiting.
I'm so sorry to hear this news. That is alarming. Its definitely a year wait?! And there is still the chance that you could have to start with NUR101 if I understand the nursing packet. Tough pill to swallow.
If true, I think you should work on any BSN courses like statistics or college algebra.

I already have a bachelors degree so I have nothing left but nursing classes. And no, I don't want to go the accelerated route.
