Has anyone seen this addendum on the nursing curriculum packet page 9 for the 2017-2018 school year? I'm really, really hoping they're not adding any more prerequisites because I'm chomping at the bit to leave my current career and another year would be so hard!

"Based upon current curriculum planning these course requirements may change slightly, once finalized a transition plan will be put into place."

22 times sounds about right! Plus I am checking this thread for updates from all of you!! I feel like as soon as I take a hiatus from my phone, somebody's going to post "hey guys! I got in!"

I'm biting my nails over here too. I'm thinking we have to hear by Friday because the class registration begins Monday. I hope we hear back much, much sooner than that, though. Like, now! Lol

Anyone planning on becoming a mental health nurse? You can practice on me right about now!!

I do agree that we should find out before 4/10/17 since that's when registration starts. Has anyone contacted CCC for a date?

I have sworn off checking today, until midnight because I figure, no one is in the admissions office. Then I'll check tomorrow AM, and probably all day. Maybe I will set limits for myself, I can only check every hour on the hour.

I contacted CCC he said 6th-8th

At least I can relax for a few days...then I can go back to refreshing the page every hour :nailbiting:

Just to let you guys know, as the former employee of a CTCC, they do not have to let you know before registration starts. This is because if you get accepted and confirm your acceptance, your seat is guaranteed. No one can just swoop in out of no where and take your spot.

I just confirmed with Profeasor Manka who is the LPN-RN advisor at NVCC and yeah.. if I get in and do the bridge, I won't start until Fall 2018. Crazy! I literally have no other courses to take so it's just a year of waiting.

I'm so sorry to hear this news. That is alarming. Its definitely a year wait?! And there is still the chance that you could have to start with NUR101 if I understand the nursing packet. Tough pill to swallow.

If true, I think you should work on any BSN courses like statistics or college algebra.

Well I hope you get in! There will only be a year to go once you are in think of it that way! Did they say when (I'm reaching I know lol)

I already have a bachelors degree so I have nothing left but nursing classes. And no, I don't want to go the accelerated route.
