U.S.A. California

Hi all,

I just applied. I thought I'd create this because I didn't see one up yet. Best of luck to everyone!

My stats are all over the place but if they review my application favorably, I will have 35 points.

I was just about to make a post for this!
My application was marked as complete yesterday. I was worried because I procrastinated, but it looks like everything worked out and I'll be in consideration for the Fall 2023 cohort.
My stats are 4.0 core GPA, 3.88 GPA for the last 60 units, and 84.7% on the TEAS. I think that works out to 43 points, but it all depends on how they evaluate everything.

Good luck and good vibes to everyone! ?

Very impressive stats! Yes, I'm hoping they notice my highest graded prereqs that qualify instead of the most obvious ones (Comm 121 instead of Comm 101, for example). I'm not sure how it works.

Oh man,

Ya'll are lucky. They automatically redirected me to my secondary major because according to them- the transcripts were not in on time. (Despite them being confirmed as received and them being able to be applicable to this other program - I still have no clear answer on what is going on!)

Good luck getting in!

@fantasticachica I'm so sorry! That is so disappointing. I am actually applying for the ABSN. I am holding my breath hoping they don't disqualify my app because some electronic transcripts I ordered are still being processed.

Thank you for hearing me. Honestly, I just needed to complain about it somewhere! (other than to my poor partner, LOL)

I would send emails to :

[email protected] and [email protected]

-Let them know that you had the Tx in on time (ordered before deadline) and that you are trying to verify receipt.

-include your SID in all correspondence

Also:

Contact the service you sent tx from and request copies of your confirmation of order or receipt emails [if you do not save all of that stuff in your email]  They asked me to forward that as proof (not that it helped in my situation) and stated that "screenshots are not acceptable as proof".

Good luck, and hopefully sending some emails now helps quell the anxiety!

Hii!! I applied the other day and if I added the points right it would be around 31 or 35 points. ?

Hi all! First time applicant here. I'm looking at 37-39 points. I submitted my app and transcripts 3/7 (so last minute LOL). Transcripts status says received so I'm hoping I get considered for Fall 2023 without any issues.

They do look at the entire transcript and pick out the classes that has the highest grade in that category. They ended up taking my ochem class over my gchem class for the points system when they sent my evaluation sheet awhile back.

Awesome, thank you.

I will apply for Fall 2024, but I was looking at the point system and it's not in my favor. I took 3 yrs of Spanish in HS but that doesn't count for the language proficiency points, I don't get the residency points, and I took the 4 science courses over three semesters (not 12 months). Does anyone know what the points cutoff for acceptances has been in the past?

I am not sure but I think it's on their website.
