Yeah. Could you imagine if we applied and gave them paperwork like that? Like, OK, here is my CPR card, and in two weeks you'll get my proof of fluency in another language.. etc. Also, if I already submitted my official tx, I have to SUBMIT THEM AGAIN? That costs money! I will be there tomorrow, however unless there is some sort of amazing Fin-Aid situation that I get from being at Palomar....I'm giving MC my best; "heyyyy ? " Mostly based on organization and communicating expectations clearly and concisely. (Also, smaller class size - which could be hell, but at least I will know what to expect.) I know not all of us have the option of other schools, but the disorganization is anxiety producing when it will be the next 2 years of our lives. I would prefer feeling like a military cadet with rote structure and strict rules rather than just blindly hoping that there are no mixups. </end rant>

Whoo. Into Palomar too. Excited to be able to see some of ya'll in person. Leaning heavily towards MiraCosta but want to weigh any cost differences and fin aid opportunities- so we will see.

Yeah, that could be bad! I think the automatic drop is par for the course. The thinking is if you can't bother to make orientation- then are you really that committed to the program? ---------- Also can we giggle at Palomar reminding us to check our email, as if we haven't been refreshing a few times a day, every day for the past few months.

The Orientation is May 31.

I do not know when Miracosta will alert the alternates- however there is a hard deadline for 5/15 for letting them know we are going to orientation,I think they may tap a few alternates then. ? (Fingers crossed for ya'll)

YES! This. ? I'm sure some of ya'll are on the alternate list for when people do not RSVP or make it to orientation.

Yes. Look for your confirmation of receipt in your email (If you are like me and hoard school related things) -- whichever email they sent that to will be the email they contact you on.
