CSUSM ABSN Fall 2021

Hi all, anyone planning on applying to CSUSM's ABSN for Fall of 2021? 

I think my overall points are between 40-41, do you think it's a safe score? I was wondering if I should take the TEAS exam again, I got 80.7, but I'm completely exhausted. I completed all the 8 prerequisites courses and TEAS in only 12 months and I need some rest, LOL

Did those admitted already receive acceptance emails? If not, would anyone mind letting me know when you do? Since I was too excited and accepted the offer right away, I just want to make sure I don’t miss out on any information! Thanks in advance! ?

I just got my evaluation sheet right now and I got 43 points. Hopefully I hear back soon.

AHHH y'all I just received an email from admissions at 5:51 am through my regular email!! I GOT IN ? 

I had 41 points!

@tkd72 Congrats on getting the evaluation! Can I ask if you had to ask for that or they just emailed you yesterday? And were you exactly on the 12th week mark?

I was in the same boat.  I am 48 and took the pre-reqs for the first time in 1993 and then again in 2012 and again in 2020 (since MOST colleges have a recency requirement).  However,, CSUSM DOES NOT have a recency  requirement so they take the first grade only.  ?  Seems unfair that if we have taken it again (over the last 20-30 years) that there would be some leeway with that but I doubt it.   Same with STATS.  I took intro to Stats in 1994 and got a B, have not only re-taken it, but also taken new STATS courses and TAUGHT STATISTICS at the UNIVERSITY level and yet, my B- is the only thing they consider.

Where did everyone get their evaluation sheet sent to? The message center within CSUSM portal? 

My application still says: Completed Application. 

I have looked through all my email, spam, trash, and have not found any messages from CSUSM.

Awe... thanks.  Unfortunately, due to the way things are, I doubt I will be at CSUSM.   My coursework from university 30 years ago is probably prohibitive if I cant use retaking the courses to improve the averages.  ?

I would like to know this too. It's been 12 weeks today since my application was sent. No news. How many others still haven't received it? Hope they don't forget about us ? I want to know my points even if I don't get in.
