CSUSM ABSN FALL 2020

Hi, Starting this for anyone applying to the FALL 2020 cohort at CSUSM. I think the deadline is March 11th. Good luck everyone!

Hi! I went to accept my admission and pay the enrollment deposit. In the email it says to pay the $50 enrollment deposit, but when I go onto my portal, it says that it is $150 for Spring, but $50 for fall and Summer. Has anyone paid this yet? I just wanted to confirm this first before I pay since the email says it should be $50!

I think it’s a typo. I paid $150 for Fall 2020

Hi! I was curious about this too. I called the extended learning office yesterday and they stated it is $50 as it is in the email but they aren’t able to change the amount stated on the portal site from their end. You’re able to adjust the amount before you proceed to checkout though! Hope that helps ?

Thank you so much! I was wondering the same thing because I saw that you could change it. I just submitted my payment and changed it to $50

Hey guys! I was also accepted into the Spring cohort. I Look forward to meeting all of you!

I also thought the $150 deposit was weird, but I payed the whole thing. Hopefully I get refunded.

Hi! I applied for Fall 2020 and I just submitted my updated transcript with my last prerequisite course. I am a proud CSUSM alumni and I really want to attend their nursing program because I live so close and I can save money. But my pre-req GPA is a bit low (3.50) because I got a C in English. Im worried that they will not accept me for Spring 2021. I would be devastated but Im hopeful that I will land a spot. Im also hoping to retake my TEAS. Any study material that you guys recommend? Thanks!

I noticed in the email that the deposit is supposed to be $150. I just paid it. Did anyone notice that it said State Univ Enrollment Deposit - Fall , next to the amount?

They made a point in the admission email to be really careful that you choose the correct enrollment deposit semester, as it could delay or cancel your admission if you mess it up. Check your admission email, it's bolded in red, hopefully all is good. ?

To those that have received admission offers and have accepted the spot for Spring 2021. Has anyone been able to complete the "STEP 2: ACCEPT THE STUDENT FINANCIAL AGREEMENT" ?

I've been checking myCSUSM portal but nothing pops up. Just curious if anyone has experienced the same? Thanks! ?

I'm in the same boat! I have not seen anything on myCSUSM to complete that step.
