I wanted to start a post on the CSUN ABSN 2020 cohort. Feel free to add any comments or questions regarding the application process. Let’s help each other out! Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hello!

I am hoping is this week, but I'm trying not to think about it. Friday is literally mid November. I am still trying to stay optimistic even though they will only be accepting approximately 10 percent of applicants. I have an urge to call them again, but I know what they will say. There's is nothing else we can do, but wait.

Does anyone know if they will be emailing decisions through our personal email (the one we used to create a portal) or the CSUN email?

A 10% admission is very selective. Maybe this cohort had very competitive applicants. Perhaps this is why the admissions decisions have taken so long.

I’m crossing my fingers for this Friday. If not, then November is almost over anyways. Good luck to us all!

To answer the question above, I believe they’ll use our CSUN emails, but I am logged into both on my Gmail App on my phone (just in case). I check both every day.

It will be through your CSUN email!

It's on step 5 of https://tsengcollege.csun.edu/programs/ABSN/apply

"Please regularly check your CSUN email for updates. The university uses this email for all communications, including notification of whether you are accepted into the program.

To reiterate: Updates on your application status will only be sent to your CSUN email account."

Just spoke to someone this morning he said decisions will be emailed either today or tomorrow and no later than Friday.
