CSUN ABSN Fall 2020

Hi everyone,

CSUN's application is now open for Fall 2020 ABSN admissions. I just wanted to create a thread for comments, questions, information, and more!

SFSU ABSN is what I’ve heard. Their program is on an indefinite hiatus. Sorry I should’ve explicitly said I’ve heard of one canceled program instead of “a couple.” I'm hoping more dont follow what SFSU is doing.

I emailed asking when we might hear regarding acceptances and if the program is still going to start in fall or if it will be postponed/canceled. I got a response that said that “due to the current pandemic, decision making hasn’t been fully reviewed.” I’m definitely struggling with feeling like I’m in limbo. Not sure when we should hear back considering decisions haven’t been fully reviewed yet on the applications/program as a whole.

I know I completely feel the same and it sucks not knowing an exact date of when they'll let us know. When I emailed however, they said that they are most likely to continue on with the program. It seemed to me that they were not planning on canceling, but who knows.

I agree, I feel left in the dark. I wish they would send out a statement so that we would at least know where we stand in this moment! Hopefully they can still let us know by May!

I emailed them and they said they won’t be getting back to us until mid/late July. ?

I emailed them right now and got a response saying that they are expected to send out acceptances late May.
