CSULB Spring 2021

Hello everyone,

Hopefully, this forum is found by people that are applying to CSULB for Spring 2021. We can share stats, updates, questions, and any other information related to the nursing program. I hope to talk to you all soon!

Can someone post the number for the admissions department? I have not been able to get through to someone using the phone number on the website. I want to wait to sign up for SOAR once I get the official letter of acceptance from the SON, but I have already submitted all my vaccinations

The Admissions number is (562) 985 - 5471. I got this from the bottom of the admissions email we were sent last week.

Yeah, calling to make sure won't hurt. I had a mini-heart attack yesterday because I couldn't understand why it was still in my To Do List hahah. By the way, has anyone signed up for SOAR?

Are we supposed to wait for the school of nursing to tell us what to do, or should we follow the CSULB website checklist?

I’ve signed up for SOAR for 1/6!

And also, how do we know if they already received our transcript? I went back to my To do list, and there’s nothing there. (I’m just getting anxious since acceptance letter from SON is not here yet. ?)

Thanks! I guess I'll sign up for SOAR. If your To Do List is empty, that means your transcripts were received. You can always call Admissions to double check that they have them, but you should be good! I've heard that SON takes a while to send out official acceptances....so more waiting for us ?

For second degree applicants, did we have to send our transcripts again? I didn't see them on my to-do list... I'm thinking its because we already sent them earlier during the application process? Do you have anything on your to do lists?

our to do list at first said transcript to csulb admissions correct? mine now says its for "student program, contact: transfer credit evaluations". anyone else?

Wow, it's really all over the place. I'm still taking a class at one of my schools but it accepted all of my transcripts, now it just says it's waiting for AP exam scores.

It's so bizarre that we're 8 weeks away and haven't heard a peep from SON

Atleast you guys already know if you’ve been accepted or not..they still haven’t sent out ANYTHING for current pre-nursing students yet??‍♀️??‍♀️

OMG, seriously?! That's insane. I'm sure if you applied other places there are deadlines to accept coming up! I don't understand what their hold up would be
