Hey everyone,
I want to apply for csulb nursing program for spring 2015 cohort, is there anybody here who is applying for spring also? Do you think spring cohort is easier to get in?
This post does not relate to one I replied to, but I just wanted to ask, was the calculation for the general gpa based off 8 classes, the ge certification, or the gpa of all classes ever taken? I just want to know because some people call in GE other people call it general pre req. I have no idea. I applied for Fall 2015.
Hi, im applying for Fall 2015 and need some help filling out the application. I have AP credit for Stats from high school so what should i fill out for semester/yr, name of college etc.? Also, for Course Number/Name, for example, do I just enter "BIOL 208" for Anatomy, or is there another number i need to enter?
Do I have to order an AP transcript and attach it to the application? The school already does have my AP scores so idk if it's necessary to spend more money on additional transcripts. I ordered the official transcript but the school wants it sealed so idk if it will display all my AP credits.
it is not related to this thread, but I have a question regarding the communication execise. Can anyone please tell me if the communication exercise would affect your application process? I heard that it is pass/fail, what does that mean? I want to attend another Info-session to ask these question, but they do not offer any while i'm applying for Spring 2016. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey fatrabbit,
People who have either gotten in or are alternates have to attend the interview. So to answer your question, yes people who are above a certain cutoff number attend, despite being on the fence or being in.
The interview is a group interview where they ask you to do several things: doing an activity with a partner (like instructing them to arrange objects in a certain order), watching a video and writing down answers pertaining to the video on a piece of paper, and answering questions verbally from a person interviewing your group. People will be watching you and assessing you through every step of the interview process.
Hope this helps. You can find more info about the interviews through previous posts if you look. The interviews at csulb are all pretty similar - they probably show different videos each semester to keep it fresh or something.
Good luck :)
