CSULB Fall 2015 Applicants-Basic BSN
@convekz I am not sure about the rn-bsn specifically and I don't know if it would be different than the basic bsn, but I also had lower than C grades from a previous school in courses outside the prereqs. It did not disqualify me or affect my score.

You don't have to send ap scores with the nursing app. As long as Csulb has them from your supplemental application.

For ap classes you just write AP, and then under grade write ap as well. You will also have the ap board then send your score to Csulb. For the individual classes write the number at the college where you took it. They verify everything through transcripts.

CSULB Spring 2015
There is the Nurse Corps Scholarship program which pays for tuition and expenses in exchange for 2 years of service in an area with a critical shortage of nursing. It is competitive and depends on financial need, and also we missed this year's deadline due to our start in spring semester.

CSULB Spring 2015
Is anyone planning on working while in school? I am hearing how intense it is and I am nervous about finances; I can't really afford not to work but I also don't know feasibly how many hours I'll have available...

CSULB Spring 2015
I just called and was told "You would not have been offered admission to the University unless the School of Nursing requested it" and "the only reason we have not sent out emails from the SON is that we are still arranging room assignments for orientation". She ended the phone call with a "Congratulations" so I am taking this is as a 99% yes. Although I will feel infinitely more comfortable if/when I get the email from the SON.

I am a transfer student, yes. I think the University may send out emails first because they are requesting verification of information submitted on the supplemental app. So I would guess it's no cause to worry!

For those of you who have accepted the offer of admission and paid the $150, are you able to see (or accept/decline) your financial aid award on mycsulb?
