Hello everyone,
I'm applying for CSULB this Spring, transferring from Palomar College. Just finish all of the application today. Anyone else applies this Spring? Good luck to us all
Thanx, ChiJAd.... I'm overwhelmed with emotion right now... I've worked so hard over the past two years completing all my pre-reqs, and it just feels so good that at 42 years old, I'm moving forward with my new career and getting the education that I need. Thanx for all the Kudos... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of you guys as well...
uggghhh still ******* myself out of nervousness.. i still have to wait for two more weeks before they start calling if im up for an interview. til them im not even sure if im accepted.
I feel you...it is constantly on my mind... but we just have to sit back and hope for the best b/c we are just stresing ourselves out for nothing lol.
Thanks so much!!! If I get into CSULB, I'm going to have a difficult time choosing... A class of 22 people is very tempting vs. a class of 90 people...
Just to clarify, you don't actually attend classes with 89 other classmates at CSULB. They'll typically break up lectures into 2 sections, so it'll be about 40+ students per class during the first couple semesters. By the time you get to 3rd semester, it'll likely be only 1 section per lecture, with about 30+ students per class. Clinical groups are around 10 students per instructor.
Thanks for breaking that down, CA_BSN... I think that is manageable, but I'm definitely enamored by a class of 22 people at CSUCI... It just seems that I could get very directed instruction when such a small number of students are admitted each spring...and this program does not admit students in the Fall.
Do you find that you get pretty good instruction and have built relationships with your instructors and administrators? I appreciate all your input!!!
