CSULB Spring 2012 BSN

Published

Hello everyone,

I'm applying for CSULB this Spring, transferring from Palomar College. Just finish all of the application today. Anyone else applies this Spring? Good luck to us all :yeah:

how many people do you think applied for spring 2012? and is there a score cut off? what was it? Hopefully i get in too!! Im a transfer though is that bad? good luck all.

I'm note sure...you can look up stats from previous semesters on the school website. I've been reading on previous threads that because of the budget cuts, they have been accepting less transfers. i'm a 2nd degree candidate so i think i am considered a transfer too. what was your score miketbp? good luck to you!

I also applied to CSULB. Patiently waiting to hear from them. I'm a transfer so my hopes may get cut short if they limit the amount of transfers, or don't accept any at all.

Good luck to everyone!

Yea. I know. So some people say that they may get called for an interview. If you don't does thy mean you are not in? When will they call?

Mike, they should be sending out email invites for interviews this week. Watch this page as people will post about invitations here I'm sure. Don't fret if you don't get on right away, because it takes some time to get a hold of everyone, and often they send them out in waves so as not to get bombarded with calls to schedule.

Ok Great thanks!

@ BeachsideNic - have you kept in touch with nursing admissions? Have you heard from them in regards to interviews? Every time I call, they said they aren't allowed to answer any questions about applications until the 3rd week of October :(

PNG ....yes I have been in contact with nursing admissions, and know.that interview invitations will be coming soon. There are a lot of applications to sort through, so be patient and if I hear anything I will post here to inform as best as I can. Admissions are generally offered three to four weeks after the interviews.

Hey everybody, I've applied for this spring 12 too, too nervous waiting for the invitation. teas v is hard, i didnt do well on the test, i hope they will call me, good luck for all

I'm not sure if they are reducing the number of accepted transfers like they did last year, but from what I've heard from my friends, they are in fact taking transfers. However, don't quote me on that. It seems this thread is full of transfers. Good luck everyone!

Hope they don't , bc obviously they allow transfers to apply admission for university

Last time they limited the transfers, it didn't occur until after interviews had been completed. It greatly depends on whatever happens (and whenever) with the stupid California budget. As of right now, they're definitely taking transfers. But it could change. Here's to hoping not.
