CSULB Spring 2012 BSN

Hello everyone,

I'm applying for CSULB this Spring, transferring from Palomar College. Just finish all of the application today. Anyone else applies this Spring? Good luck to us all :yeah:

Ah! mid- November is SO FAR AWAY. I'm like slowly dying already.. I hope they tell us sooner (= *fingers crossed*

They told me three weeks at the most. So I'm pretty sure we will know sonner than that.

Em, who told you 3 weeks at most? The brunette from the Learning Center who was running the interview started to say two weeks, but the professors who were also evaluating corrected her and said definitely not before November 1st but probably in about four weeks. :/ Lol.

Interview went pretty cool.... Nice to meet those of you who were in the room with me! Painless and enjoyable, but glad it's done... IIt looks like we will hear around mid-November... Good Luck to everyone! What other schools have you all applied to and have you heard anything yet?

I agree, nice to just have the interview over with! Lol. Good luck to everyone! I also applied to CSU San Bernardino, my friend who is in their program said she thinks she remembers getting her letter around the end of October....so....hoping for that! I just want to know SOMETHING from either school. If I did get into both, I would probably choose CSULB though because I really like the idea of a trimester program!

I also was in that room Nessy430. Were you the one I did the activity with?? Sitting on the innermost part of the conference room? Sounds like they don't think we'll hear back until after November.

I applied to Sac State, and Chico State. We aren't supposed to hear back from either school until at least around Thanksgiving, which sounds SO far away. I'm just hoping that all these schools take into account the different times we are hearing back from these programs and hopefully don't make us choose until we've heard back from most of them.

I called... She said my score was good enough to have been interviewed which means yours was definitely good enough... She said we should hear something in 2-3 weeks. ugh I just really hope there are no budget cuts bTW now and then!

ks11 - i interviewed for a previous application term. this is my second time applying so I don't have to interview again, but I rememeber there were 4 other girls on my group.

What did the second email say? Are you referring to extra slots for interviews?

What other term did you apply for? Is your score.the same now as it was last.time?

I was thinking the same thing, I am concerned I don't have to turn a program down (or accept) if LB takes too long to let us know. :-/. Hopefully it won't be an issue. Ugh I just want to get in somewhere lol.

I was told first or second week of November - We will be notified via email when the list is posted physically at the nursing department, and letters will be sent shortly after that. :)

My flight was good! Glad we were able to stumble through that activity together haha. I definitely here ya. I just want to get in somewhere, anywhere that takes me. I feel like it's getting more and more competitive. It just seems like more and more people want to become RNs! Thankfully, a lot of these programs are taking more transfers and second bachelors than in the last few semesters!

I agree jwong. Im a second degree transfer and I feel so blessed that I've been accepted into a BSN program. If it makes you feel better, if I get an offer from CSULB I will likely turn it down so there's one more spot for you guys! Lol

Yes it's definitely crazy competitive. :-/. By the way am I the only one who was completely thrown by those questions we had to write about? Lol I am worried I sounded like a complete moron because I totally was not expecting questions like that!! I was like ummmmm??! Haha
