Hello everyone,
I'm applying for CSULB this Spring, transferring from Palomar College. Just finish all of the application today. Anyone else applies this Spring? Good luck to us all
does anyone know if the cpr card has to be from the american heart association, or can it be from the red cross? i don't think it should matter as long as it is a cpr healthcare provider card right?
on the to do list, it specifically states:
"copy of american heart association cpr healthcare provider card"
hope that helps.
Is anyone else having trouble accepting admission to the university using the MyCSULB website? I don't have any link that says "accept/decline" anywhere. The page is literally blank, except for some how to guides that are useless.
There should be something at the very bottom about admission. Just click the link and then it'll ask you to accept of decline the admission I believe.
I had the same problem creating my magnus tracker...the steps shown in the paper were not the same for the process online. I had to kinda figure it out on my own, but I know I got on the right tracker because it shows all the requirements I need and I noticed a little box on my tracker page saying cal state university long beach nursing....so Im assuming I did everything okay....call the number to check to make sure you did everything okay...
I'm applying to the Fall 2012 BSN and was wondering how they calculate your science GPA. Do they just use A = 4 points B = 3 points etc or is it based on the amount of credit hours/units?
Example:
Say your following grades are:
Chem- A
Physio- A
Anatomy- B
Micro- B
A= 4 points, B= 3, C=2
Chem= 4 points x 5 units= 20
Physio= 4 points x 4 units= 16
Anatomy= 3 points x 4 units= 12
Micro= 3 points x 4 units= 12
Total points= 20+16+12+12= 60 points
Total units= 5+4+4+4= 17
Science GPA= 60 points/ 17 units= 3.529
You can also do A= 4 points, B= 3, C=2 so that using the grades above:
4+4+3+3=14
Science GPA= 14/4 classes= 3.5
This isn't as accurate though.
I hope this wasn't too confusing.
@nursing.dee I checked my tracker and yes it does say its past due, so I'm assuming it's just not updated for this semester
OMG ok thanks:) I was worried. I called them and they said that ya that was the date attached to that tracker but it's always nice to hear it from someone in the same situation:)
thanks
