Hi I'm new here I also applied to CSULB for Spring 2016 and I believe my score is 9.47

Gen Ed GPA: 3.5

Science GPA: 4.0

Teas Overall: 96%

Teas Math: 90%

This is taken straight from the application. It is crucial that you read EVERYTHING.

Candidates with the highest cumulative scores, based upon their personal profile, must participate in a mandatory departmentcommunication exercise. The exercise will be held approximately thirty days after the nursing application deadline. After the exercise,successful candidates will be offered admission into the program. Do not contact the School of Nursing to inquire on your status untilafter November 15, 2015.

Regardless of the discrepancy between the two dates, it is best to be patient and not bother the SON as they are busy gathering the pool of applicants.

You will only be notified of the communication exercise if you make the cut. I doubt they will want to interview 500+ applicants.

Does an interview email mean we have a good chance of being accepted to the program? and they send those out in Oct right?

Getting an email does mean that you are a final candidate for the program. I'm not sure if it necessarily mean that you will get in but your chances are looking good. On the application it said to not email the SON until November 15th to inquire about your application status. I am guessing that you should receive an email by end of October.
