CSULB Nursing - Spring 2014

Published

Anyone who apply for CSULB Nursing Spring 2014?

has anyone bought the NSO insurance? If so did you guys choose the RN option when asked about professional area of study? and did it come out to around $22? I want to make sure I did it right. and also, are we suppose to have the insurance by tomorrow Nov. 26th?

Tnguyen1925, you did everything correctly (I asked one of the staff about it just to be sure). As for the date, she said "If it is too late to get the 11/26 date, don’t worry. Please just get the one the date that is next available."

Are we supposed to turn in the contingency contract at the nursing building?

Thank you penguinwaddle! I appreciate the help. So much of the immunization is unclear to me. I have an appointment for the titers tomorrow so I am gonna stop by the department to ask some questions. Hope it is going well for everybody else.

I think so I will turn mine in tomorrow so I will confirm that for you when it's done.

So I just got my titers done at my school OCC and it came out to $115. Still cheaper than in the website, but pretty expensive a poor college student like me :). Does anybody know if we all have to get 2 titers done? One before and one after the vaccinations if needed?

Tnguyen1925, if any of your results show you are not immune to a disease, then you would get vaccinated for that disease. Then you wait 6-8 weeks to get another titer done to show that you are immune.

Has anyone signed up for the SOAR workshop yet?

Yeah just turn in the acceptance paper to Ml.W's office

I just handed it to her yesterday and she said that was it.

Thanks kgod, I got it now. And yes I have signed up for the SOAR workshop on jan 10th. I just did on my.csulb.

Did everyone complete the annual documents? The contract said we needed to complete the annual documents on 11-16. I sent an email asking about the date since we didn't recieve the letter until 11-22 and she said the correct date was 11-26. We had 4 days to do it? Just doesn't add up!
