I'm surprised that no one else has started a thread about CSU Long Beach's nursing interview for Fall 2011! The Interviews begin next week and isn't anyone out there as nervous as I am! I live in Norcal so the long drive down to Long Beach, will hopefully be well worth it!
I have only gathered small bits and pieces of information about the interview for CSULB and if you guys would like to share what you know with me; that would help a lot.
sorry..am having internet connectivity issues. i'm a transfer and i interviewed back in march. i never had any contact from CSULB after that though. was debating on whether to drive down & look at list but i'm pretty sure that i'm not on the prelim list b/c that list will only show the top 25 transfers (who already accepted unless they get into Sac State & decide to go there instead) + the remaining CSULB students who got in. maybe i'll drive down on friday to check out list again in case it has been updated to show all 90 spots before i'm forced to pay a deposit at Sac State (though I haven't heard anything from them either)....so but i'm not that optimistic

curious, did anyone see their name on the posted prelim list but did NOT get a phone call, email or letter before today about being accepted?
thanks piamia4ever! could you please email it to me? i've pretty much close to giving up on nursing school at this point and spent last week trying to figure out what my plan T will be i tried calling nursing dept today to see if i'm on the list, but they had VM on. you must be soooo happy to be in the program, huh? what a relief! when did they say you have to accept the offer? did they let you know when orientation would be? from old posts i heard orientation would be in late may. were you going to try to do the 2-yr or 3-yr plan at CSULB?
if the nursing department isnt answering you guys, you can find out if you are in ( transfers only) if you call that automated admissions voice box thing. it works because your applications were deferred until notice from the nursing department, meaning that if the nursing department says you are accepted, the automated voice thing should say your admission was accepted .
Oh mine didn't say I was accepted yet. It just said an admission decision has been made. I'm guessing I'm at most an alternate =P Now I just need to find out lol where I am on the alternate list! I hope they will answer the phones tomorrow
