CSULB NP Program Fall 2020

Updated:   Published

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to start a thread for anyone who applied for CSULB for Fall 2020. What specialty did you all apply to, your experience, and stats? Any previous applicants that can shed some light on why they might have gotten accepted/didn't get accepted? Spoke to the graduate admissions coordinator who mentioned that they will be contacting selected applicants in late February to early March for interviews and writing assessment and decisions will be made in April. Good luck to you all! ?

For those who have interviewed and finished the writing process, did anyone else get an email from CSULB saying their application was submitted for final review??

I did. I think it was just a general email that was sent out. So annoying. I thought it was an admission decision. haha

Has anyone heard back from CSULB after the interviews?

Haven’t heard anything yet

I had a co-worker that recvd a rejection letter prior to her interview on the 18th. She attended the interview despite the rejection letter, and they said ignore the letter, and they are still considering her as an applicant... maybe they sent out a few rejection letters on accident? Regardless, I have not heard from them. We're not supposed to hear back until the first couple weeks of April.

I heard someone got an acceptance today, anyone else get a call?

I haven't, I applied fnp. Acceptance notification may depend on the program. The person you know got a call?

I originally received a rejection letter as well. They told me to ignore the rejection as well and proceeded with the interview process. I got a call today that I was accepted to the AGACNP program.
