Hey everyone!
I know its a bit early but time flies fast and I pretty nervous so I'm sure other people are too. Is anyone applying to CSULB this upcoming semester for fall 2019? Just wanted to make this so we can talk about goals, nerves, points, and ask questions! Also, if there are any current or past CSULB nursing students...any advice? Hope to hear from u guys!

You don't need to take them prior to applying! Many people (me included) are taking them this summer/right now.

Thank you very much @bweezy. It was unclear on the website how to transfer those courses if taken after applications and transcripts were submitted, so it’s a huge relief that they do allow it.

I'll be applying for Spring 2020...
I'm not sure! They didn't tell us anything at orientation or in any emails regarding the cut off ? Study hard to get mostly A's and do well on the teas and you'll have a good chance!

That confuses me since I got A’s in all the science and GE pre-reqs. The only B I got was in developmental psychology, which was only a co-req.
Does anyone know if they take into account withdrawals from pre-reqs?
Really?? I am applying to Fall 2020 and I have same as you, all classes A except for public speaking I have a B ... ?

Science GPA: 4.0 (4 pts)
GE GPA: 4.0 (2 pts)
TEAS overall: 89.3% (1.786 pts)
TEAS reading: 87.2% (1.744 pts)
That puts me at 9.53 if I added right! I hope that’s competitive enough. Does anyone know what cut offs or averages looked like for the last admitted class?
Anyone knows where those points come from and how to calculate it? And also what is the average GPA of those who got in in previous cohorts?
I'm applying for Fall 2020. My stats are prereq GPA 3.68, GE GPA 4.0, and I'm taking TEAS on the 21st. I doubt I will get in based on yall excellent performance...

@chubbybunny Question about orientation! Might be a dumb question but here's a 40 minute lunch break, should we bring money for food/pack a lunch or is lunch provided?
