CSULB Fall 2012 BSN

Published

Hi!

I think the CSULB School of nursing recently post new pool statistics including those who were chosen for Fall 2011.

Knowing that the rating average is 8.91/10, that seems like a huge difference than the previous semesters!

Anyone else planning to apply to CSULB Fall 2012 BSN program?

You must be making a lot right now. Once you update your financial aid, you should be able to receive some grants.

Aw I'm sorry to hear that. I sent in my pre-req challenge form/transcript about 24 hours ago. I think I should be able to register by Friday I hope. Maybe you can try ELAC if they will let us take it? I seriously think ML will be super annoyed of me when she checks her email in the morning since I sent her 3 separate emails after 5 pm with separate syllabi lol.

I sent in my transcripts the same day as you to SBCC. Have they cleared you to register yet? It feels like they're taking their sweet time

Nope they haven't yet. I know seriously .. I am anxiously waiting and checking my SBCC email every hour..

Me too! lol I just got my letter from them in the mail, but it isn't anything important

Hey everyone...congrats to you all who got accepted into CSULB. If you have any specific questions about the first semester, feel free to send me a private message. I can forward you the first few chapters you need to read, so you're ahead of the game, and I HIGHLY recommend you read before classes start...Our first day was "orientation," but was really orientation and two lectures :( the first few weeks are pretty stressful, so if your prepared before hand, it will be an easy transition to the wonderful world of nursing school. Unfortunately I'm going to be moving away from Long Beach for personal reasons, but really wish i could continue my nursing studies at CSULB.

Best of luck

I understand why you audited the class. For me though, it kind of defeats the purpose of taking the class early if I have to technically take it again.

I'll definitely look into it though. SBCC's classes are almost filled up though. :( Congrats to those who got a spot!

I assure you it doesn't defeat the purpose of taking it early. Having the A on record gave me the leisure of being able to sit in on the class without registering for it at CSULB. It was very helpful to participate in the class and learn more about the drugs without having to take those horrid exams.

Thank you Lavender. I was able to register both of the online classes in SBCC.

24 hours after I submitted my transcript, I was able to register those classes.

Now I feel less stressful.

Thank you for the heads-up on the CPR class.

Did you learn a lot more in CSULB's pharm class than at SBCC, or can you say it was just mainly review and you remembered most of what you learned online? Also, did you have to pay to audit pharm?

@Dr. Choco did you email them or mail or fax? I emailed mine two days ago and they still haven't update mine.

Wow really?!? That's great! Congrats I'm so happy for you! You were very fortunate to get both classes! Now you can get those out of the way, lighten your load for fall, and still enjoy your summer.

I faxed my transcript to Health Information Technology & Cancer Information: Transcript Evaluations - Santa Barbara City College

I didn't get email to confirm, but I was able to register the following day.

If you check your pipeline, it tells you if your hold was removed.
