CSULB Fall 2012 BSN

Published

Hi!

I think the CSULB School of nursing recently post new pool statistics including those who were chosen for Fall 2011.

Knowing that the rating average is 8.91/10, that seems like a huge difference than the previous semesters!

Anyone else planning to apply to CSULB Fall 2012 BSN program?

Yeah, I hope you get a spot! Even if spaces fill up, you should still be able to waitlist them.

Hey, it's her job to do this kind of stuff, so she shouldn't mind!

Aw I'm sorry to hear that. I sent in my pre-req challenge form/transcript about 24 hours ago. I think I should be able to register by Friday I hope. Maybe you can try ELAC if they will let us take it? I seriously think ML will be super annoyed of me when she checks her email in the morning since I sent her 3 separate emails after 5 pm with separate syllabi lol.

Did you by any chance send a syllabus of Coastline Community College's Nutrition class being offered online this summer?

No, I didn't. I believe I sent Barstow Community College (online but already full and maxed waitlist), Los Rios Community College, and El Camino College (in-class).

I didn't realize Barstow's was full until after I emailed ML so I guess that one's out.

Actually, I think I was going to email the professor for nutrition at Coastline but couldn't find her email. There's no point in asking ML if something is equivalent without a syllabus

I tried looking for the professor's e-mail for Coastline CC as well and couldn't find it. Hopefully, one of the 4 syllabi you sent will be accepted.

I don't understand why coastline doesn't have a faculty directory. Like really, come on now. -_-

Seems like a good chance that the course for coastline would be accepted AND it's online ANDD has a ton of seats.

Yeah, I hope it's accepted. So many seats, means a good chance of getting a spot.

Maybe ----- would pass it with the course objectives that were provided on the website. but I kinda don't want to email her again haha.

NUTR300 at American River College is equivalent, but it is already full with a max waitlist.

Can e-mail her for the syllabus and send it off to CSULB for approval.

Thanks, I emailed her for the syllabus. I'll keep you guys updated as soon as I find out whether or not it is equivalent (Let's hope it is!)

Does anyone know how financial aid works? I checked my CSULB email and was of course denied for financial aid. I was offered an unsub loan, so I will be taking the loan to cover my 1st semester. A co-worker told me that I can ask for income reduction/modification after I start my program because I will no longer be working. I plan on will take loans all the way through, but if I can get some help why not.
