CSULB Fall 2012 BSN

U.S.A. California

Published

Hi!

I think the CSULB School of nursing recently post new pool statistics including those who were chosen for Fall 2011.

Knowing that the rating average is 8.91/10, that seems like a huge difference than the previous semesters!

Anyone else planning to apply to CSULB Fall 2012 BSN program?

You won't be able to register for non-nursing classes (capstones) until your registration date which should be your SOAR date.
What's this SOAR date?

Hi AnaLVN, I'm planning to take the class during summer :)

But I don't register it yet.

Is this class an equivalent Nutr 339 or is it just for our knowledge?

@AnaLVN Do you know what dates in the summer it runs from?

There's 2 options. One runs from June 19th to July 18th (If I remember correctly) and they also offer one going from June to August. It's Tuesday and Thursday mornings. The only problem is that I'm not 100% sure if CSULB will accept it. I tried asking the Nursing Dept but they told me to check assist.org and I didn't find anything pertaining to the Nutrition class there.

I'm really bummed we can't take it online.. Saddleback is about an hour away from me and I did not know that. So I most likely won't do it. :(

Your orientation date that you sign up for on mycsulb.

Same here. That long of a commute isn't worth it for me. I'm not worried though. NUTR is an easy class. It's not something I will stress over.

I heard Saddleback's class is equivalent to NUTR 339. Assist has nothing for CC NUTR classes being equivalent to NUTR 339 so I don't know why they told you that.

Yeah, I took NUTR132 already. LBCC's FN20 is equivalent to CSULB's NUTR132 on assist.org. But FN20 qualified for NUTR339. I wonder if they will let me waive the class.

They will not, unfortunately. Many CSULB students take NUTR 132, and they have to take NUTR 339. There are many CC NUTR classes equivalent to out NUTR 132, but they may or not be equivalent to NUTR 339 which is weird. They should do an equivalent course sheet like they do for patho and pharm. It would be so much easier that way.

Yeah, NUTR339 will probably be a lot of review for me. Are you going to take any classes in the summer Clueless?

If you guys get accepted to CSU-LB and applied and got accepted for CSU-LA Application as well, please let CSU LA know that you will not be attending asap, so that people from the waiting list has a chance to get in! =X Help your class out, thanks!
