CSULB Fall 2012 BSN

Published

Hi!

I think the CSULB School of nursing recently post new pool statistics including those who were chosen for Fall 2011.

Knowing that the rating average is 8.91/10, that seems like a huge difference than the previous semesters!

Anyone else planning to apply to CSULB Fall 2012 BSN program?

I hope everyone did well on their interviews. I thought it was pretty fun. And I was stressing out over it for no reason. I think I met some people here from the 9 am interview too :)

One thing I can't remember is if I put my name on the essay paper..... :(

Jonathan,

I wouldn't stress over the mere possibility that you may have forgotten to write your name on your essay paper. The groups interviewed were rather small so they can probably figure out that it's yours in case you did actually forget. Also, remember that the interviewers told us that the interview really does not play into their decision to admit us so it's not a big deal. The point is that you showed up and did your thing :)

A month exactly when we will hear.

Blah.

I did get conditionally accepted to CSUSB school only though.

Meh

It will go by fast :)I got denied from CSUSM, the university, because my transcripts got there late. I sent them 2 weeks in advance and live an hour away. Whatever. Didn't want to go there anyway lol.

Wow how could it get there late if you sent them 2 weeks ahead of time? Thats the post office's fault !

I think it was CSUSM's fault for taking too long to realize they had received them. At least that was my super back up school so I don't really care. I just feel bad if that happened to someone who actually wanted to go there.

But still! I would be pretty upset if that happened to me .. especially cause you paid the $55 to apply to the university unless you got the application fee waiver.

@DarkBluePhoenix I think I saw you at the interview for like one second haha!

It's actually more like $100 if you count paying for two sets of transcripts (I've taken classes at 4 schools...lol), sending AP scores, and the official TEAS score report..

So lesson to be learned for future applicants, always purchase a return receipt from the post office when you send anything of importance to a university. It's worth the extra money if it means you can prove the school is at fault.

Hi Everyone!

I am new member. I was just curious about what others were saying about the CSULB nursing program and was just surfing the net and happened to find this site!

I also interviewed on Wednesday. My interview was in room 36, I think, at 1pm. I showed up at around 11. I met some people, including BeachSideNic. It was nice talking to members of the CNRA, they were really nice, enthusiastic and helpful. They really calmed me down a bit.

I'm pretty sure I probably had some of you guys in the same interview. I was wearing black slacks, purple flats and a white blazer jacket.

I am just sitting here worrying as usual. Just waiting for the days to pass by. The waiting is nerve-racking. I wish everyone the best!

Good luck to everyone!

Mari: That is why I never ask schools to send transcripts. I do the 'pick up' option and then send them in certified WITH return receipt. ALWAYS. I dont trust ANYONE lol

Peace: Yes, I did notice Nic was there...I figured that was him but I didnt want to say anything because there were a lot of people with questions.

I am really glad that club people were really happy meeting us and explaining stuff. I just thought they would have a boring sign in and you just sit there! They even had snacks and agua! hehehe

One of them ketp telling my friend and I that she better see us in the fall hahah I sure hope so!
